Hi everyone,
Well it's been awhile since i've posted comments so I thought I should give you all an update. I was scheduled to enter my first ever comp in September at Newcastle Panthers, I dieted for a few months and lost 12kgs which is absolutley huge for me. I had a photoshoot with my husband Greg and my friend Bec the day before, which was fun (check out the photos below) and I was getting myself prepared to compete. However, I hadn't given it my best and I wasn't in the right frame of mind so I pulled out at the last minute (the night before actually). I went and watched the comp in Newcastle and was stoked to see my Husband win First Place in the Men's Lightweight Division and also come runner up in the Men's overall. I was glad that I didn't compete because I was able to concentrate on watching him which gives me the biggest buzz ever. 2 Weeks later I was due to compete in the Central Coast Comp (with WNBF) however I still didn't diet as I should have. Mentally I was just not in the right place and I was struggling so much that I decided to give it a miss and I actually put back on 3kgs in that 2 weeks. However on the day of the Central Coast Comp (again at the last minute) I decided to enter the Sports Model Category, so frantically my husband tanned me up just in time for me to jump on stage in my 5 inch heels and my bikini which was a little too small - that's what I get for not dieting properly and not giving anything 100%. But I got out there, I was confident and happy and I strutted my stuff and it all paid off. I WON. I CAME FIRST IN MY FIRST EVER COMP!!!! I was so stoked. Never do I give anything 100% and I was disappointed in myself for that, but just getting up there has given me the drive and passion to want to compete again. I figure if I can do so well when i've only given about 50%, imagine what I can do when I give 100%. So hopefully come May next year, I will be entering my 2nd comp and I plan on being a lot better this time around. So keep your eyes out, I'm going to rock this world!!! he he. :)

6.5 weeks to go
Hey everyone,
It's getting closer and closer. I'm now 6.5 weeks out from my first comp and i'm getting anxious, nervous, excited etc. I've had about 3-4 weeks where my diet wasn't fantastic, so I haven't really changed all that much, but the the bonus is that I haven't put on any weight. I think my photos show that i'm slowly getting there. Hopefully the next 6 weeks will see me getting a lot leaner. Keep your eye out, i'll be putting more and more progress pics on my site and keeping you up to date with what's happening in my world of dieting, training and competing. Wish me luck, it's not long to go now. WHOO HOO. It's so exciting.

8 Weeks of Dieting, 9 Weeks to go
Hey everyone,
I've now been dieting for 8 weeks straight, which is a record for me. Mind you I have cheated a few times and eaten chocolate which I'm not supposed to do, but i'm still losing weight slowly which is great. It shows in the pictures and that's the main thing. It is now only 9 weeks until my first competition so its really time to get stuck into it and be 100% focused. So I'll keep you updated.
Bec and I are heading to Sydney with our Hubby's this coming weekend to spend some time with Mel Zimmerman who will help us out with our Posing practice. We'll also talk about costumes, changing our diets, routines etc. We're both really looking forward to it and we're gonna come back absolutely pumped and ready to go, so look out stage, we're coming and we're gonna ROCK!!!

7 Weeks of Dieting
Well, I've now been dieting for 7 weeks and have lost 6 kilos, which is a great start for me. I've never lost weight in my whole life so I'm stoked. I've got 10 weeks left until my very first Figure Competition and I'm extremely excited and very anxious. It's going to be such a buzz.
